Lukso Jiang, also known as Chanissara Saejiang, is a self-taught artist known for her live sound-to-visual synesthetic abstract and surrealist painting sessions, as well as her advocacy for autism awareness.
Background
Lukso (b.1999) is based in Bangkok, Thailand. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Thammasat University in 2024. She began her artistic practice while still studying history, researching the intersections of art, politics, and psychology. After graduation, she pursued art full-time, gradually expanding from abstraction into more figurative forms.
Inspiration and Approach
Her early works were shaped by synesthesia, translating perceived vibrations, sensations, and visual impressions from music into abstract imagery. While it remains an influence, her practice has evolved toward a broader exploration of symbolism, narrative, and poetic interpretation, inspired by sensory experience, personal reflection and the natural world.
